Ever made a mistake or been in a situation that you just recovered from or sort a way out; the words ‘looking forward’ or should be I say (going forward ,heading forward ,whats the next step etc ), is one of the most general words used even without us realizing we are actually saying it, this plays a huge factor in our daily lives and sometimes we stop and ask ourselves this. In general we use this phrase in our everyday routine; when you hear a colleague, friend or family member saying ‘I am looking forward to my day off, watching the match, my holidays etc.
By taking the time to stop and appreciate who you are and what you’ve achieved – and perhaps learned through a few mistakes, stumbles and losses – you actually can enhance everything about you. This is one of the reasons we can progress and make a difference in our life because we all are created for a purpose, some of us are yet to discover the reason of our existence; and self value of who we are or can become – one who doesn’t believe to achieve is one who is destined to fail and is one who hasn’t learnt from mistake or a past that has molded them to be who they are, some mistakes are good and there can only make us better; this is what makes us say ‘whats my next step’ and we then tend to look forward to make ourselves better.
We need to bear in mind that when we agree to move forward its a step that takes us away from time wasting on the past and building to make ourselves better in what we haven’t been able to achieve at first, this step doesn’t restore everything the way it should be but its a good start and it can never be too late except we choose not to change certain things and ways; remember life is too short to be unhappy.”
Likewise, there are some mistakes that we make at a point in time that leaves a deep depth of regret and hurt; wishing that we never made them, but later tend to appreciate that they happened in other for we to learn from the past to prevent making the same mistakes for the future ;looking back at all this imagine what it would have been if mistakes where not made.
The most important thing here is how do you recover? what do you do when it happens and after – do you run from it or do you embrace it?
