In my last blog ‘DYING WITHIN -PART I’ – it stated ‘Remember its harder to fix what’s broken to its original uniqueness except you choose to go to the original creator ,commit yourself in prayer into the hands of your Creator; and when you have done so, trust Him with yourself’.
Proverbs 16:7 – “When a man’s ways, please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.”
Thought forgiveness was one of the hardest things to do? What about finding peace with your enemy? What is peace without forgiveness and what’s forgiveness without peace; we can easily say I forgive you but hard to forget that hurt, its human nature and with this building up in us, gradually we have hate for the other whom we claim we have forgiven; but not forgetting been hurt or the offence just means we have no peace within us yet, in order for us to be free of hate we need to clear our minds and thoughts of every hurt or occurrence that has happened to us.
We can relate to the things happening in the world today , even after countries and other parties have signed peace agreements, fighting and war never ceases – and this is the same scenario of forgiving but not forgetting, we are at war with ourselves and this constant clash of unrest within us never ceases except we surrender and give it all up and then we start to realize that the enemy is actually within us!
Beware of no man more than of yourself; we carry our worst enemies within us – Charles Spurgeon.
